I'm having disturbed sleep. I take melatonin, go to sleep at 10:30-11pm, then wake up between 2:30 and 4:30am and find it difficult to sleep again, tossing left and right in bed.

Melatonin isn't a sleep drug, not at all. It may help only a little to sleep quicker, but it only improves the cycle sleep-awake and quality of sleep in theory. Since I have had a messed up sleep since I was in middle school, it doesn't seem too bad, but I have been using melatonin for months every day now.
I don't know about dreams, didn't consciously notice anything about that.

i speak from experience when i say that only passata without the proper vegetables in it really sucks.

too high. everything costs too much. mountain regions here are considered "luxury" living unless you live in a village with like 15 people in it (i fucking wish). i might be able to live in the mountains for a year or so once i start working, assuming they hire me in a seasonal hotel or restaurant though and assuming i actually get my degree and get good at cooking stuff.

i can picture you playing the piano, but why the bass?

no, you need to cut onions and carrots into small cubes, heat up a pan with olive oil in it, drop them in with some garlic, and let them cook a bit. THEN you put the passata in and add salt, then spices like pepper, oregano, and then some basil, until everything is nice and mixed. possibly you should do this while the pasta is cooking, so that when the pasta is ready you dump it in the frying pan with the sauce you just made and saute' it a bit with some more oil and the cooking water of the pasta until its all nice and mixed. you need to keep stirring otherwise things get burned. sigh, there's more to it but i doubt you want to read a wall of text on how to make good sauces.

Suicidal on Hong Kong island, probably not too bad on Kowloon since it's a lot flatter. I think newer developments like TKO have cycle paths but that's about an hour from Central.
