I think the real reason Darktide updates are so slow and barebones is because Fatshark in actuality is working on Darktide 2 for real behind the scenes and have been for a while, and they're slow-walking the announcement for it because it would obviously enrage the fans of the game who've been supporting it for years with their fucking fake gay-ass GAAS model. I honestly would not be surprised if sometime next year they announced Darktide 2.
