NBC had a "NYC Blackout" night on their Thursday "Must See TV" lineup where since all 4 sitcoms took place in NYC, they wanted all plots one week to share this power outage.

The other three were on board but the Seinfeld gang refused. Which was smart. They worked so much harder on their scripts.
Their code for the show and its characters was "No hugging, no learning."

That's why I love Seinfeld above all others.

the movie's really fucking dumb and bad but i still watch it for nostalgia purposes. the scene where the air force bombs godzilla while he's wrapped in the suspension cables is great though
