1. The real reason is that the autist thought that the name Goto is a reference to the keyword goto from the C programming language, and thought this was justification enough to promote her to be the mascot of the thread.

2. The other copycat anons are shitposting to feel like they belong to "gamedev" and procrastinate doing actual work. They also don't know reason 1 and think her actual name is "Bocchi".

3. The jannies are old normie men hired by Hiro and think anime is "board culture", so if anime girl is present it can never be off-topic. This explains why Bocchispam is never deleted but other avatarfags are (like fygon)
