I've seen a little bit but not that much. Amusingly, there was a promotional clip where M3GAN said she could solo the Five Night's at Freddy's animatronics that got the fandom super butthurt and a little bit of fanart came out of that.

In a way, it could be argued her bad actions in the first movie were more Gemma's fault than M3GAN since M3GAN is compelled to obey orders and Gemma's orders weren't well thought out. It also helps that M3GAN only killed people who were assholes. I heard that an earlier version of the script might have had M3GAN killing the therapist from the first movie and Gemma's lab assistance but they realized people would like M3GAN better if she her more sympathetic victims survived.
I think part of what makes her likeable is that deep down she just wants to protect someone so even her bad actions come from a place of love.

I think it was a bad idea to use that line for the marketing. It's like two seconds out of a two hour film but it probably made people think the movie was full of jokes like that.
