Asking again:
Is it worth to trade in for a katana 3 50 over a boss katana mini x?
I got the mini x and desu it's great minus only 3 or 4 effects being worth my time, I read the higher-end gen 3 katanas all have tone studio capability, so about 2k$+ worth of pedals you can program into the presents.
I'll eventually move on from a practice amp anyways, but #rhetschill the guitar #god said all you need to start is a blues junior and some elbow grease.

Got a boss katana mini x today.
I was thinking about a spark 2 but I really don't want to have to spend hours fucking with the app.
The mini x is ok, I dig it. I was surprised it had some push responsiveness with the gain up.
Only drawback is all the alt modes for the three main modes kind of suck. Clean/crunched with high gain is nice though.

This is my condrum looking for a practice/potential gigging amp so far:
Vox valvetronix
>"IT'S NOT REAL TUBES (but sounds great)"
>No usb/headphone out, no app control
>Only the 40w sounds good
Boss katana mk3 50
>Affordable but heavy
>Push tones are modeled but still tinny compared to other amps
Boss katana mini x
>Decent, has app control
>Only runs off of usb rechargeable battery
>Tiny and can never gig with it, will have to spend another 500$ on something better later
Spark fullsize
>Tons of shit through the app
>You have to use the app
>Not really a great 30w amp
Yamaha THR
>Sounds great
>Easy to use, some computer control functionality
>Near field 10w dual speakers
>Can never gig with it
Blues jr.
>I am not a boomer
>Only sounds good at high volume, not enough to gig with
I really want to give up and just get a boss katana mini and hate myself for the next year at this point desu
N-UX
>Can't find in America
>Semi-decent
>Drum machine
>Still kind of sucks
Should I give up and get the desktop marshall tube thing that's barely 1watt at this point
