what's actually a point of making some indieslop like this? like if you do it as a hobby then fine, have fun I guess, but if you're putting this shit on youtube then lmao wtf, why not just, actually make a game? gather a team of developers, pay them money, and make an actual game, if you don't have money then look for investors, have your concept prepared, convince them to fund it then make the game, that's what game development is, not messing around for years to make some shit that was already outdated on the gameboy, league of legends was 2 college dudes who went to tencent for funding, got money from them, hired devs and told them to make a dota clone with online matchmaking, it's not that complicated

>content creators and pro players of a game they're passionate about hold a tournament
>they put a lot of effort and creativity into it
>it becomes succesful and they keep doing more of them
>at one point a company comes in and sponsors them to hold a touranament of their game
>barely any buzz and hype around it, you can see no one has any passion and just go through the motions then never mention it again
>gradually there's more sponsored tournaments than organic ones
>eventually it's all just soulless sponsored tournaments for games that I never even heard of
feels bad man
