I will only make one post, so it isnt derailing, but GOOD GOD does its mere mention disprove your entire post. It literally says shit like "do you feel like a hero yet" to the player, in loading screens. It wants to split the player and the player character but fails miserably because it cant, you cant, and somehow only toby fox can by making the player also a character in their own right that controls the protagonist. Im not saying deltarune is le goy speciul game or whatever, because ultimately it isnt. Im just saying that for a game that prides itself on being a critique of milsurp or whatever games, spic ops fails hard. its mediocre, with clunky controls and a mid story, not to mention the actually unavoidable "tragic event" that it pins the blame on (you) for when (you) couldnt do anything about it.
