'Philosophy' is a meaningless term these days, mostly used by those who have middling IQs to convince themselves that they're geniuses. Ancient philosophers are admirable because they were making sense of the world around them, at a time when science and medicine were much more primitive than today, and because they were the first to put their beliefs to paper (or parchment)

Most philosophers from 18th-20th century France and Germany wrote pithy essays about elaborate daydreams they'd had, with occasional reference to insane solutions they'd like to impose as an answer to contemporary problems, and now we have to suffer thousands of posts on /int/ and /lit/ each year about The Greatness of German Philosophy™.

You make it a real threat and so you build up a guy as the savior of NJPW by winning the final and defeating the Great AEW Satan, could be Uemura or Kidd or whoever really.
