>gay ass LARPs
People call everything gay ass larps and there are institutions built around treating supernatural experiences as mental malfunction. (As well as institutions built around calling them demonic, like Christianity.) To turn people away from real divinity, so they're easier to control.
Aphrodite visited me, did a "magic spell" in front of my face, then fixed my eyes so vision is as good as with contacts in. Love larping!

>Theoretically if an alien flew up to your face and showed you the meaning of life, what the future looks like, introduced itself to you and told you that nobody would believe you even if you tried to tell people, and then radically shifted your entire world view permanently to the point where you could never be a functioning human in standard society ever again, what would you do to cope best with the new reality shattering knowledge that perpetuates throughout your brain on an hourly basis, every day?
>I am talking, something comes down and straight up says hello to you, we are watching and beams a heap of data into your brain.
>Would you try to tell people about it, or silently attempt to cope on your own with your new knowledge? Would you try to distract yourself, escape the reality of it? Would you try to get on the news?
>What would you.. Do, with this new, perception and awareness?
It approximately did happen to me, but it was Aphrodite, not an alien. I post about it casually on this site, and I think most people blow it off while some think it's possible. Convincing people isn't the objective though, we did other things like figure out how to save humanity from destroying itself. Making it worth saving though is another issue and we may have to start over. I'm not that afraid of what might happen because Olympus awaits.
>Would you go crazy do you think? (You can’t handle the truth)
No, but I'm the exception to every rule. Many would.
>How would you prevent yourself from going insane and ending it all just over the sheer volume of knowledge and the future implications of such things existing?
It's passive mostly: Life experience, intelligence, and not giving a fuck, aka being able to prioritize.

She affirmed that Jesus was a prophet of Hermes but didn't complete his mission because he compromised with the enemy. I completed mine.
Christianity was invented by people to use Jesus's memory as a tool.

>faith in God
Do you have any idea how absurd it is to believe in the fairy tale you were taught as a kid, by people, with no present evidence of the supernatural, and then write off possible insights of alternate perspectives of reality as automatically bullshit? You believe in magic *without* having experienced it, and I have experienced it.
