Luke may have been overpowered, but his character had struggles. He started out as just a naive farmboy and needed training to do anything. He was defeated by Vader and lost his hand. He was tempted by the dark side. He had to rely on his friends as he couldn't do everything himself. He didn't understand starships like Han or the Force as well as Obi or Yoda, he didn't understand Galactic politics as well as Leia.
The problem with Rey is not that she is OP, the problem is that she never struggles with anything, her character at the beginning of the movie is the same as character that she is at the end. She starts the movie already knowing how to fight, pilot starships, use the force to escape capture, defeats Kylo every single time she fights him, etc, etc.
She has basically no character arc, which is what makes her a poor character. "Mary Sue" is just a primitive way for brainlets to try to articulate this feeling.
Compare Rey to KOTOR II's Meetra Surik, who is canonically female and one of the most powerful jedi that ever lived. Meetra Surik aka the Exile has to face a lot of personal struggles, and people love her character.
It has nothing to do with how powerful a character is, but with the journey to get there.

Yea I'd say thats pretty mediocre. They should of realized their limitations as "amateur" game devs as in they have only made 2 other shit games and limit their scope as in their "execution" of it was shit. Fucking midwit trying to abuse rhetoric. Actually kys, people like you make discussing anything online annoying as fuck
