I hope the Avatar cards are just as weak
>All friends but one hate everything that is Japanese so we’re the only ones who go to FF pre-release
>Both get the 1 card we each wanted (mono white Cloud for me and WUBRG Terra for them)
>Both also get Vivi from our packs
>We make Vivi decks
>Just their sheer presence alone has already made most of our group seethe while they’re perfectly fine with their niggerfied LotR cards are weird looking Doctor Who ones
>All of them looking forward to SM and Avatar (remember liking the latter as kid but tried a rewatch during 2015 in first year uni and didn’t get far)
>SM cards get spoiled yesterday
>All of them are bitching and moaning about how weak they are so far and aren’t happy about the promo Avatar card also revealed yesterday being an Ally
>Pic when FF friend and I fry their Avatar and SM decks with our little FF wizards

As retarded as modern SE are this would have never happened. Ever since DB Evolution the nips have become very anal that when adaptations of their franchises are done, they’re the ones with the final say on whether it goes ahead or not.

Only partially true. While they’re more aware of it nowadays (from my perspective ever since the Dragon Rulers happened and despite many attempts at banning the cards around them before banning them directly in 2014), they still fuck-up enough once in a blue moon where they’re forced to take drastic action.
>Had a copy of Grinder Golem from Duelist Pack: Jesse Anderson for about 8 years in one of my folders
>Offload most of my cards around 2017
>Links and Firewall Dragon happens
>What was once a 50 cent card becomes $200 dollarydoos overnight
>Friend of a friend goes full retard and buys mine for $500 dollarydoos because so few of them existed in Aussieland
