Nah, Gerson's fight uses a different skill set than the Knight's because of green soul mode, especially with the diagonal arrows that exist solely as a fuck you to keyboard players. Don't lose hope. Keep trying and you'll get it eventually. That goes for both Gerson and the Knight.
