Because I'm F2P and play it where it lies. I A6'd Moko and Key is A5 so naturally I'm going to focus on bringing them up as much as possible. running low tier shitter gangs is also fun. Already got a free Ann and am going to spend the plan 2 freebie for her weapon so that's not a concern, got spooked by Mona when trying for Joker so I was trying to get his weapon as well.

Assuming you're not plot spoiled, from the way things are looking the shards/eggs don't seem to be especially important for the snowgrave route.
they might be important for normal route or a theoretical "true ending" route involving aborted snowgrave that seems to be hinted at in ch4
