Ulfric Stormcuck got captured once during the great war and he was captured again at the beginning of the game. I can't see any reality where he wins without the Dragonborn's help. He's incompetent and too dumb to win the civil war.

Orsimer are truly the Spartans of Tamriel. To work hard, to fight hard, to die hard and to never expect weakness, including your allies. From what we understand, there appears to be no actual restriction on the quantity of gods (just check out the numerous deities worshipped by the Redguards and Yokudans), although the big eight are mostly acknowledged as the Aedra.
