It's simply having fun anon. Beyond the neck snap, there's so much apocalyptic imagery that Superman was at the epicentre of in MoS without him seeming at all concerned about it, him being evil in Knightmare stuff, he's extremely brooding in BvS, does shit that most people interpreted as murder initially like tackling the African guy through the wall, says a lot of 90s edgelord lines in BvS, reverts to Murderman mode in both JL cuts when resurrected, is brutal as shit with Steppenwolf in ZSJL, and plus there is so much imagery where he looks basically scarier than Zod ever did in MoS. So no, Cavillman is not a murderous psycho as such but it amuses me seeing him memed as basically Darkseid and then you have Zod, Darkseid, etc. being his heroic opposition.
