Why do people even care the art was traced to the point of completely canceling all artist's work?

Popular singers openly admit they neither write nor compose their music.
Greatest movie directors outright take pride they stole something from an older director.
Writers constantly steal from each other and just call it an homage.
But if an artist is "caught" with a work that looks similar to someone else then it's a worse crime than a murder.
Instead of just giving him a label of a hack lazy fag tracer, he is complete tore down as if attacked by rabid dogs.
This shit only scares artists. Even low begs are now obsessed and go crazy over getting "called out" for tracing and record all their shitty scribbles.

Why didn't they just release on PC first? They are getting weighted down by retarded Sony contracts. If they weren't forced to wait for PC release, install Denuvo, restrict certain regions etc, they'd probably already sell 5 millions. This should be a cautionary tale for anyone willing to bend over for Sony.
