I'm completely serious and just want to understand. Maybe I'm desensitized to it since I've been exposed to it since the first Idolmaster anime. I just don't get the "cringe" aspect. How is something as universal as people singing and dancing on a stage "cringe"?

Do you find Hamilton cringe? And no, I'm not saying this is equally culturally valuable or meaningful as Hamilton, but I'm just genuinely trying to find what it is that bothers people SO viscerally.
