yeah it's a complicated thing, people who draw it half the time don't actually even know about huecycles' headcanon so really it doesn't mean all that much, but at the same time the trans dess brainworm managed to wriggle its way into several AUs and other more longform fan content
off the top of my head i know the guys who were making a fan chapter 6 with dess and the vessel randomly had her be trans as one such example
