This is obviously extreme, but I do like at least on paper some of the setups peddled by the Chinese in pic related. There is a time and a place for high-coverage armor setups even beyond BALCS.

It's somewhat my "signature" to have reasonable options and then escalate the infographics into total larp status gear. This is merely to capture the full "spectrum" of equipment and make the guides more comprehensive. Take side two of the aliexpress infographic for example. Nobody ITT has an Infiray TOM-E. Nobody's swinging $85,000 for cooled 640x512 thermal binoculars, but it's still cool. Maybe one day, one will fall off a truck for a lot less than that.
