Is it really the best Zelda game?

Post games where as the credits rolled you stood up out of your chair and just shouted

Does it hold up?

I just beat this for the first time recently and thought it has held up exceptionally well. I have a few minor quibbles with the overworld or nitpicks about dungeon design, but as a whole it is just a timeless classic with rock solid fundamentals, great pacing, satisfying difficulty, and established the mold for Zelda games to come.

I just don't get why so many gamers, especially younger ones, take issue with it or say it has aged poorly.

Why do zoomers hate it? Is it actually just too hard for them?

The most comfy game of all time.
