Absolute shabbos goy mindset.
>They're the only segment of consumers that refuse to acknowledge inflation exists
This is all I'm going to bother to read, because it tells me everything I need to know about your post. Inflation exists, everyone knows this, but the core consumer—that is, people who typically discuss games and are slightly less inclined to buy thing solely because it's the new thing—has no reason to pay more for said games. AAA devs are slowly discovering what indies already figured out accidentally: the difficulty or cost of doing business does not directly translate to consumer value. I do not care that gamedev is more expensive, because all of that money is not going to aspects of games I care about (QA, extra content, new ideas), if a product becomes more expensive than I'm willing to pay for, I'm not paying for it. It's really that simple.
>Food analogy
I kind of like eggs on a rare occasion. Eggs are super expensive right now. The solution? I don't buy eggs.

To expand. This is like arguing whether or not Andrew is injured if he falls and scrapes his knee. In an absolute sense, obviously he's injured, but "injury" runs the gamut from boo-boos and splinters to sucking chest wounds and dismemberment. People are using the characters as a vehicle to argue what they consider the threshold for what they consider mentally ill, and it's fucking gay and stupid.

>doesn't want Andrew and Ashley together
>singlehandledly responsible for cliffhanger ending where Andrew is forced to face his inner-demons and admit he wants to kiss his sister
??? is either retarded or an incestuous mastermind, which means either way he's fucking based.
