Anyone know what games allow a slow war of attrition on higher difficulties where you progressively make barracks and defensive capabilities to move the line forwars - preferably ones where you collect resources and they dont run out for the most part

For me it would be AOE2, Rise of nations and cossacks 3
In cossacks 3 i loved making slow moving infantry pushes with a continuous line of them to break through the enemies on higher difficulty. Had so much fun

dont really like the supreme commander type of games

What is this phenotype btw? Her last name suggests British but she doesn't look like one

Did the devs comment where she is supposed to be from? Maybe France?

Playing some of the scenarios on hard difficulty where you gradually inch towards the enemy bases while castling up was some of the most fun Ive had in gaming unironically

cossacks 3 worked similarly and rise of nations but neither required castles or similar since there it just became a war of attrition with troops. Anyone know more games that lets you do this.. I dont like the supreme commander like games
