Yeah I never got that defense, giant couple is still /d/ fetish shit. That ending is also the more likely route a sizefag would take since its the romance route too(it also happens to be the most popular ending despite being the "non canon" one). Its a lot more likely that the devs were just into that and thought it would fly because Rin's a femboy. I do think both of the minigirl endings were supposed to feel bad/be "fan disservice" though, which may make it seem more "high concept" to normalfags/people outside of the fetish. I also don't know why a lot of anons were hung up on the suicide one being "canon" as if that matters much for a story that isn't likely to be continued.
