I am OP and I made the post you replied to. This discussion is pointless. You know about a very limited very specialized part of logic, and nothing about the rest. Your opinion about the rest is not interesting. All you have done is prove the thesis I made in the OP, that people who haven't studied logic say you don't need to study it. You haven't studied any logic beyond the narrow specialized part of it in your math, and you think virtually nobody needs to study any of the rest of logic. You're talking about something you know nothing about.
Why do they study logic at yeshivas and in Freemasonry?
Asking for the third time now, did you study Euclidean geometry with proofs?

That was quite a tirade. You haven't studied any logic have you? Because only people who haven't studied any logic think logic is intrinsic or "should be intrinsic" whatever to make of the difference in nuance there. I posted a ton of links, especially in the thread I linked. Study any of those and you're going to change your mind about logic. I don't listen to Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson, I posted a video with Sam Harris, if you haven't watched that speech, watch it. In it he does an experiment where he asks you to think of a movie which is perhaps the best part:

Being an NPC is thinking with emotion and not being able to put your ego to the side and have a disinterested discussion about a topic. Studying logic does away with that. They removed grammar, logic and rhetoric from the masses, but they still study it in Freemasonry and yeshivas. Why? Because it gives you power over yourself and others, and not learning it makes you powerless, manipulable.

You spend 12 years in public school learning almost nothing. Wake up.
They removed grammar, logic and rhetoric from the masses, but not from the elite. They still teach it at yeshivas, in Freemasonry and at schools like Eton College.

I said nothing about personality. Why do Orthodox Jews study logic at yeshivas? Why are Freemasons informed in the second degree of the importance of studying logic?
