I've read ancient Tibetan texts that mention ice ages (eg: glaciers covering all the lands during certain kalpas (epochs)). It's literally not that hard to imagine a world covered in glaciers by people who live in mountains.
So if OP was trying to intellectually checkmate religion it failed (because it's not that far out of an idea).

I enjoyed it. I was attracted to the idea of actually taking part in history (instead of being a passive observer).
I went to airborne school and then ended up doing convoy security in Syria (I drove MRAPS). I remember the first time we got attacked I was so excited, & for a few months they bombed our compound daily. I remember the first time I shot an ISIS fighter and him struggling with the medic trying to save him. I remember how heavy a severed human head felt.
This might sound weird but there is a clarity that arises, its like youre aware of everything, it's beautiful. I remember staring at tracers in awe like a child.
But I won't go back in because I also hate the tedious pointless monotony that makes up 99% of military. But if I could recreate that feeling I would.

>Also where do you get all of this knowledge from?
You read a shit ton of books and then start noticing patterns.
>If you're a normie
You look for data that confirm a modern bias.
>If you're autistic
You'll hyper fixate on super specific quantative factors (like the amount of nickel mining in Bohemia in 1940-1945 or the number of SMGs at D-Day).
>If you're schizo
You'll look for the "big picture" and mostly ignore small details. Sometimes the big picture is thousand year cycles and shit.
The normies are usually the most '"right" in the decade they write in but become very "wrong" and dated after that.
The autistic is usually the best at getting detailed accurate accounts of history to get the best overall picture
The schizo is the best at using history to predict the future (making him politically more useful).

Its not the Renaissance/age of enlightenment anymore, artist are no longer appreciated. Example: I have a friend who was the "A" student in HS/college. He was always endlessly getting praised as a "genius" by teachers, local news and family for modding video games, designing levels etc. Then he went out into the real world and not only did no one give a shit about his talents, but if he got feedback it was only complains or criticism. He went from happy-go-lucky to soul-crushed in 4 years.

Here's what would realistically happen:
>US would does a "no fly zone" over Iran
It would probably take the US about 48 hours to get air superiority. The rest of war being daily missile strikes on Iranian sites.
>Stocks will crash for 2 weeks then rebound
>Putin will condemn the war
He will offer "assistance " but it won't be jack shit beyond a couple hundred Wagner mercs
>China will claim a limitless alliance with Iran
But will do nothing to help Iran.
>Iran will shoot down 1-5 US jets
Iran will make a huge deal about it, especially if they capture a pilot, but it won't change anything. Iran will strike US bases in the region with missiles, and try to sink US cargo ships and oil rigs in the Indian ocean.
>Retarded tiktokers will say millions of US troops will die
Rememeber when they said the cartels could conquer America? Yeah same stupidity.
>Leftists will go apeshit for a couple months.
Expect to see "war is murder" bumper stickers on cars in blue states and calls of impeachment and colleges having walk outs. Any civilian casualties will be hyper fixated on by the media.
>Iran will agree to not import uranium (they'll be lying of course) and a ceasefire will be declared.
Iran will claim it won, Trump will claim he won.
And the status quo will return to what it was before the war.

Ok, it's like what >>81488575 says he kind of explains it. For me I started in spring 2018 by just making sure my dirty cloths were in a basket, then making my bed, then showering everyday, I think thats all I did for about year and a half.
In 2020 I stared mindfulness meditating which eventually gave me what I call "soldiers mind"(I don't what else to call it) where I still get anxiety but my mind is like a rock that overrides it (unless I'm sick). Just make sure to do mindfulness properly or you won't get results, that is noticing things and specifically noting distractions.
Then I started going for walks, then fasting, then reselling and budgeting, then going back to school then learning how to talk to girls (not red pill just being able to talk to them). My point is the more you accomplish the better you feel.
So for example:
>I no longer get (or it's very reduced) negative thoughts that other people are judging me or mistaking things they say as insults
>I no longer get depressed or suicidal anymore.
Anyways I gotta go to bed. I hope it helps.
