Either Disco Elysium is deliberately written a particular way to disguise elements such as >>714877631 which would be "insincere" by definition, or Disco Elysium's writers did not bother to put much thought into specific elements they did not care about or feel was important, despite those things being noticeable and important, making their claim of authorship insincere.

Disco Elysium is objectively /lit/ since it was based off a book, but not a very good book, and it's easy to find plot holes or needless author bias in parts of the story. The Lorry Driver comes to mind, where the writer's only feasible idea for why someone might resent foreigners arriving to take their job is they have a tiny penis. There's also odd moments where the comical racist stereotype is a seven foot-tall Hercules, whose defeat is played for laughs because the idea you could stop him is so ridiculous (he can pull a grown man out of a tree), and he's also the only person to tell the protagonist the objective truth of "You need to stop drinking." All of this juxtaposed to such retarded ideas as
>the literal glownigger lady who can do no wrong
>your morally-infallible chinaman sidekick who is a homosexual
>the gaggle of communists who enact vigilante justice
that again expose a pretty blatant author bias.
The best way to describe Disco Elysium is somebody sat and did the work, which is commendable, but their ideas are ill-informed because even by European standards Estonia is a place full of pathetic men. Also >>24506791 although I'd add Planescape: Torment.
