That's how you get out of sleep paralysis. Had it plenty of times as a kid, including in the morning hours. So much that I was waking up and thinking "ugh, not again", and routinely focused on a leg or arm to move to wake up.
Still, also saw some creepy shadowy shit during the night. Including a giant, entirely black spider that would crawl across the walls until it vanished behind the wardrobe.

Is it one of those gigaflies? I've got a bunch of normal fruit flies in my backyard but there's one fly that's like 10 times the size of the normal ones and he doesn't fit in my fly trap so he just keeps hanging around enjoying the aroma.
