When I was a youth in high school I would get high and walk back into slow and everything felt slow motion. I would feel weird as fuck being around my teachers like that and rush to the cafeteria to buy these big chocolate cookies they used to make. One time my geography teacher made fun of me for smelling like weed. I would either go hang out with my friends and listen to music or watch stuff. Or play games stoned and it just made the experience better. Arcade down the road was fucking awesome, had Third Strike, Guilty Gear XX, CVS2, Marvel 2 and a ton of other great games. Used to walk in there blem all the time in the high school daze.
Nowadays it doesn't hit me hard like that. If you smoke sativa, it hits like espresso. Makes you feel wired, I will run fighting games online and have some good matches. Or those deep single player experiences suck you in deep as fuck, makes me feel more immersed. Indica is very different though, when I smoke indica it almost makes my brain feel slow and kinda stupid. Good for when you're ready to go to bed, but not great for gaming.

playing the shit out of white knuckle rn
I learned to just avoid games that have shitty padding mechanics - so all F2P, all modern multiplayer games, etc. Time is valuable and gameplay is king.

Seriously Nintendo and Valve are like the twin towers holding up all of gaming at this point. The full implications of how massive their victory is probably won't fully be felt until the next decade. And they both clearly take inspiration from each other, Valve made the Deck partially inspired by the Switch, Switch 2 has mouse functionality to help port PC games and Nintendo seems to be copying Valves form of long term storefronts over multiple generations.

I specifically did not list a PS5 or Xbox. And the Steam Deck or other handheld pc is really optional, main thing is to have a gaming pc and a Switch 2.
Having a Deck is cool because you can play the same library of games on PC either through installing them on or streaming if you're at home. Over Wifi 6 there is basically no input lag with a solid setup.

Eh, I mean if you really can't wait for the Sony movie gaems. I fucking forgot GoW Ragnarok and Spider-Man 2 even came out on PC. Ratchet and Clank was pretty cool though.
