Phil and the other leaders clearly wanted to just buy out the console market. They wanted to own their studio and keep future titles off other competitors' platforms. Like we have leaked emails stating that Microsoft wanted to buy more studios to strangle the competition and compete with them. Then it seems like big Daddy Microsoft said, "we just wrote you a check for almost 100 billion dollars, you're gonna start making that money back NOW," and they had to drastically change the plans.

This is 100% Phil's fault. These retards thought they could buy out the console market but then Microsoft came knocking for their money after they just spent 100 Billion on Activision and all these companies. Then they had to hard pivot to Game Pass.
