Except for Kanon and maybe the two VNs Amairo Chocolate and The Fox Awaits Me HANA, these are games all made for consoles first, that may or may not have received PC ports later. Most of them were already rated by the ESRB or PEGI before being blocked by Nintendo themselves. Kanon received heavy additional censorship from its version on the Japanese e-shop, while Amairo Chocolate was explicitly already rated before being postponed and then canceled. IFI also explictly blamed the "Nintendo Guidelines" when the Neptunia Re;Births and DERQ Code Z were canceled.

They'd literally be better off with Snoy, at least they'll still let you have a global release after making the required censorship. By the way, those AI slop games are on Playstation and Steam, too. Either they're made in such quantities so at least some of them slip by approval, or there's nothing even remotely provocative in them contrary to the titles.
