Resident Evil Remake 2 and REmake 4 are the best games in the franchise. No ammout of crying about "old good new bad" will change that.

To be honest I didn't care for that part of the game. I get that maybe they were trying to make the game huge and thus diversity was needed, both for environments and missions, but I never cared for SA's story beyond the gangsta shit in the early game. That's where the best missions, dialogue and characters are.
The only exception to this was the crazy hispanic bitch from GTA3 which was one of the best parts of the game.
