Don't use Frieren for your National Socialism.

It's a series about Christian ethics. The most satisfying victory over evil in the show, is done through control of one's passions and living a prolonged humble life.

Frieren is overrated. It had a VERY strong beginning, but the longer it goes on, the more it falls into common cliches like licensing exams and tournament arcs. If I wanted to see that shit, I'd just watch Naruto.

Frieren should have been a single cour series, or maybe a 2-hour movie, about Frieren learning to accept the loss her friends and vowing to appreciate the people around her more in the future.

watched it a few months ago and to be honest, frieren has made it hard for me to go back to enjoying "normal" anime.

i get bored instantly trying to get into new seasonals or "classic" shows like eva. the character development, the emotions, and the worldbuilding are just never up to par. it's like going back to games you played as a kid and realizing how shallow they are compared to the stuff for adults. it's honestly depressing

has anyone else experienced this? what should i watch next?
