That's a misinterpretation of the scene between Ralsei and Susie that the story wants you to accept, but encourages you to challenge, especially in Ch4. Ralsei does not know everything and his opinions are far from be-all and end-all. There may be intermediary stages between Dark and Light Worlds, and the idea that it's all fake is just flat out wrong.

It's a decent argument, however Susie's full-on love of all things Ork tips the scales the other way very hard. Susie likes loud rock and metal, flamethrowes, giant monsters, wrecking stuff, probably likes monster trucks and speed freeking. Kroot are quite deadpan emotionally speaking.

Well, considering that Muffet's spiders are monsters with the same rough size, proportions and living style as real spiders, and the Bird That Flies You Over A Disproportionately Small Gap is pretty much just a bird, it could be that some bird monsters really are just real birds but you could have a chat with them.
