Well yes the Horde (or more specifically the Orcs) took their entire "noble savages" schtick from the old Warhammer Khorne lore. He's the God of blood, murder etc but back then he was also nuanced in the sense that murdering or fighting someone weaker (or worse, defenceless) was seen as dishonourable and pathetic. That's the lore Metzen was inspired by (copied). It has since then been diluted in to the unrecognizable tranny mess it is today.
