I don't know why people think that literally anything will change except for the publishers adding an extra paragraph to the EULA.

I hope this is only the beginning, there's so much bullshit that should be removed from this industry

>Paying to play online with a console (I will forever refuse to accept this as the standard)
>Lootboxes are still a thing due to loopholes. Valve literally has a gambling monopoly thanks to CS:GO
>Game licenses that you bought being removed so now you're forced to play a different game (Example: Overwatch 1 and 2)
>Getting permanently banned from a paid experience sometimes for very subjective "offensive language"
>Kernel level anti-cheats
>Owning a license instead of the actual game (this one is the most important of them all imo)
>FOMO purchases
>Being forced to make accounts and launchers for singeplayer games and getting banned in singeplayer games, so you're forced to give up your personal data
>Heavy false advertising (can be a bit subjective but I wouldn't mind seeing some clearer enforcement against it)

And I'm probably forgeting so many other things. I'm aware that some of these practices can't be easily regulated but I still wouldn't mind seeing them gone forever
