First of all Gwen never did anything wrong her "romance" with norman is now non-canon thanks to spencer. Secondly it was MJ who got Peter to agree to do the deal with Mephisto. Also it was she who left peter or paul and she was stupid enought to bond herself to a alien symbiote which is why she is now Venom. Also anothert thing to bear in mind is that MJ and peter only became a couple AFTER Gwen's death.
