Honestly, being stuck in rigid religious rules just kills the vibe. Korean culture is about living fully, enjoying good food, freedom, and being part of a global community. If you want a life that’s fun and open, Korean culture beats strict Islamization any day

Thailand might shine brightly when you’re strolling through Bangkok’s glittering malls and tourist hotspots, but step outside the capital, and you’ll find a completely different story. The rural areas where the majority live are trapped in a cycle of poverty and neglect that makes them look like a forgotten third-world backwater.
Despite a nominal GDP per capita of around $7,182 (2024), this number is heavily skewed by Bangkok and a few wealthy urban centers. Most rural Thais scrape by on less than $3 a day, with limited access to decent healthcare, education, or stable employment. The national poverty rate sits around 10%, but in the countryside, it’s often double that reflecting how unevenly wealth is distributed.
Healthcare in these areas is a joke: clinics are sparse, hospitals are hours away, and poor infrastructure means urgent care is often unreachable. Preventive medicine is basically non-existent, so chronic illnesses go untreated, crushing quality of life and life expectancy.
Education follows the same grim pattern. Rural schools lack qualified teachers and resources, leaving students trapped in low-achievement cycles with little hope for upward mobility. English education, crucial for global competitiveness, is almost entirely absent outside the cities.
Thailand’s economy leans heavily on tourism and cheap labor, but the financial gains rarely trickle down beyond Bangkok’s flashy skyline. For millions outside the capital, life means subsistence farming, meager wages, and systemic corruption that ensures the rich stay rich while the poor remain forgotten.
So before anyone starts boasting about fighter jets or flashy nightlife, remember: the real Thailand isn’t the tourist brochures. it’s a country still shackled by deep inequality, struggling to keep its rural population from falling further behind.

Spain? In all fairness, you have to admit, the Portuguese were more serious in this department, tho.

Recently, Ukraine is being increasingly pushed back by Russia, so the US has announced that it will provide fighter jet support. However, Germany, which does not have a powerful military, has no reason to provoke Poland.

Enough of this nonsense. There is always broth left over during cooking. I don't know what you are cooking that you have to buy store-bought.

It is not sold here in every store and for good reason. It is not needed.
