Any other loser here that used to cope with "at least I'm intelligent" but eventually realized they're actually unironically retarded? The cope is probably pretty common since the mind is the one thing you always have with you irrespective of your achievements. Honestly, it was only after hitting rock bottom that I started seriously questioning if I might actually be stupid. I think when I was still part of the "rat race" I was unconsciously protecting my ego so I could still have a drive to compete but that's just my best guess. I'm aware intelligence is multi-faceted, but if you never consistently succeed at things there's really just so many excuses you can give until you should acknowledge you might just not be mentally equipped enough for life. If you're good at doing a single intellectual task but so bad at the rest it's a detriment to your life, then calling yourself intelligent is like calling a pile of shit with a diamond in it a pile of diamonds. "I didn't have the tools I needed", "I wasn't really trying", etc. There's only so many times you can say that before you should start reconsidering if you even have what it takes to begin with. There's lots of people here clamoring to their supposed IQ scores but I have a hard time believing most of them aren't also retarded, not to mention how dubious IQ testing as a concept even is. Sure, there might be a few ones that really are intelligent, but it takes a lot of cracks to fall down to end up a poster here in regards to your ability to function. Most people get defensive if you question their intelligence, but I think they should consider how liberating it is to accept being retarded because there's nothing to prove anymore after that, you're free.

My biggest problem with the game is that most of the characters look like they know what a starbucks is. Also its a fucking atrocity that the palicos have the option of human speech. Absolutely vile.
>no endgame content
>no grind for materials
>29 monsters
>only 29
I havent played much since i got to the endgame and realized thats all there was to do.

Despite taking surface level inspiration from Touhou, Toby has failed even the most basic fundamentals of good bullet hell game design. Players just don't notice the friction because most encounters are easy and repetitive, the health bar makes the game incredibly forgiving, and boss fights usually pivot away from the bullet hell style into some gimmick or minigame.
A lot of people fighting the knight will have their complaints dismissed with "get good" "skill issue". But they are saying the same things I said the first time I fought the little froggies in the ruins. It's not the casuals fault for not noticing the 30fps framerate and terrible hitboxes until the game really put pressure on them.
