i have spent months trying to decide on what my first "long term" game project will be. By long term, I mean something i want to continuously add shit, treating it like a playground to practice/prototype a bunch of different features and ideas.

We are turning ourselves into a slave and police state to compete with China which we wouldn't have to compete with if we didn't give up the heart of our economic power to them in the first place.
The infinite growth game all these people at the top have been playing have only been at the top.
It's like they've been putting more branches and leaves on a tree that they keep making grow higher but the trunk is not widening and the roots are not deepening.
