It's summer—some people are on vacation, some stop playing because of the heat, and others just take a break from the game. Every year I see the same posts, and no one seems to understand that it's completely normal.

There really aren't new people coming in. The blue in the bar represents how many new accounts there are compared to the last time the survey was taken. Blue is almost the entire bar during the relaunch. Its a lot of the bar during the WoW exodus. Ever since Dawntrail the blue has damn near completely vanished.

I presume he's currently working on the next MMO. That's probably the only reason he's even being kept around. That, or they just don't have anybody who could even replace him that wouldn't be worse.
