The reason DsO makes better music is because Hasjarl tests all his music on an unplugged guitar by itself, and its why you can play DsO on piano and have it not be an embarrassment beyond the obvious repetitions.

Face reality, OSDM is a joke, it cannot stand the drumless test, the riffs are nonsense garbage, the "songs" has no coherent beginning middle or end, there is nothing connecting anything they write besides a senseless desire to shit out more power chord slop.

Adding on to what I said, DsO as a band was created before Hasjarl became religiously involved with his music and wasn't serious about it, nor was it dissonant at the time. Taking the music seriously as its own ethos and force is what drove the poser ba1die Shaxul away. Only Dissonant metal is real.

If only that were actually true. All the modern disso bands only copy SMRC/Kenose/Popcletus. Basically no bands have cracked the FAS/Katechon/Synarchy code, the closest there ever was were funnily enough Imperial Triumphant before they turned to jazz, basically pre-Vile Luxury. Dodecahedron was relatively close too.
