M+KB is pretty much always the better choice in any game that offers it
Half of the time when it isnt its just because the devs fucked the control mappings or introduced bugs with inputs
Most games people SWEAR by to use a controller dont even fucking use the 2nd analog stick to do anything unique.
Controllers are just extra bing bing wahoo hardware to sell to hobbyists with the promise it will better their experience, there is a massive incentive to pretend games are "better experienced" using a controller instead of M+KB. Ive even played games where the developer has put a message that "it is the intended experience", but after trying both ive realized the controller is just a gimmick (Rain World, Outer Wilds)
Games are also incredibly limited by the controller inputs, because they are so limited, most games with "skills" end up having extremely limited availability for them:
>Dragons Dogma
>Dark Souls (Lmao at using arrows to switch spells, what a design cope)
...basically any RPG for consoles will be extremely limited like this and then theres the fucking CONSOLE INVENTORY SYSTEM UI which creeps into every fucking PC game aswell just because controllers are supported
