Probably my favorite vidya character in years. What made Verso so great?

I waited a month to get this game thinking the shilling would end and people would turn on it like always, and yet the daily threads praising it consisted. So I picked it up and went into it nearly blind, and couldn't put it down. I actually spent a while deliberating on which ending to choose before of course, coming to the conclusion that Verso's ending is the only right choice. It fucking broke me. Beautiful game, a true artistic masterpiece and what this medium is all about. Restored my faith in vidya. 9.5/10 and easily my GOTY
