So if I'm doing a run specifically to create a horse parent focusing on stats, should I still do the G1 races?

I built an Oguri Cap specifically for late runners and now I'm gonna build an Oguri Cap specifically for pace chasers, in the future will we get an option to label these horse parents or at least categorize them according to their specific running category?

So when building a horse specifically made for inheritance I should focus on stats > track proficiency > skills. Right?
So for example I should pick a horse that is skilled in sprints of the horse I want her to succeed is weak in sprints, right?

So if my trainee is weak in miles, I should raise a horse that is good in miles and my trainee will inherit that horse's proficiency and that removes her weakness? At least to some extent?
