I compare myself to other artists because I like seeing their artwork and I save it and bookmark it because I want to ref it to redraw stuff but it always comes out worse and as an insult to the original artist.
After 5 years my accuracy is worthless and my observation is trash.
I want to keep trying but if after all this time I havent even grasped the most basic of fundamentals then what is the fucking point? I am just doomed to be permabeg but too fucking stubborn to give up.
Would it be wrong to just trace over models and photobash shit? Cant blame a cripple for using a wheelchair.
