The ACOG in a LaRue mount is the ultimate carbine optic and that's that. It's really that simple and no amount of snowflake contrarianism can change this reality.

I use them pretty regularly but mostly because I sperg out and reconfigure my rifles.

Realistically I mainly used the QD to switch between my ACOG and Aimpoint on my SBR. ACOG most of the time, switch to aimpoint if I'm shooting with NVGs.

I only recently piggybacked a T2 on my ACOG and can aim passive through it with my NVGs so I may not need to swap at all anymore.
