Sounds far fetched anon, how could he be friends with them, willing to risk everything to hide them.
Fear, understandable.
Association, understandable.
It's just a huge shift in global morals and ethics.
As sad as it is, some people are evidently above the law in all senses and circumstances.
To be rich now, it is evidently noted. That obeying the law is not needed and nor profitable.
Some powerful people are so lost in nihilistic existences that they might have absolutely no interest in human kind. Which they lead.
All of this is evident for the mases.
And it will evident for everyone in the future.
In a way, the beast has been unleashed.
lol

God has perfect will and we do not.
To sin is to transgress against God's will.
Because we do not have perfect will, sin is inevitable.
Jesus Christ is the solution to this dilemma.
Being God Himself, He has the right to both forgive us and to suffer in our place to satisfy His own justice that we can be reconciled with Him.
However, those who reject Him must be met with divine retribution for their sin.

Neither Judaism nor Islam can reconcile God's justice with His mercy.
Without Jesus Christ, one must be ignored for the other.

We have freewill.
If we did not, then all evil would be acceptable.
Because we have freewill, it is inevitable that we will do something that is contrary to God's will and nature.
That is why we need Jesus Christ.
He offers the gift of mercy and forgiveness for our sin, though if a person rejects that mercy, then divine retribution must fall on that person's head that justice may be done.
