A pupil in the sense of the circular black spot in the center of an eye is called 瞳孔(どうこう) in Japanese, but this term is often used in the field of medical and gives the formal impression.
If you were a doctor and confirmed someone's pupils were dilated, you could say 瞳孔が開いている.
In everyday conversation, I find 瞳(ひとみ) or 黒目(くろめ) more common and less medical, so if you explain to someone that you like anime characters with small pupils, then it would be better off saying 瞳の小さいキャラが好き or 黒目の小さいキャラ好き.

As the Austrian anon already answered, the ては here expresses repetition of two actions.
I mean, 雨が降る(the rain falls) and 雨が止む(the rain stops).

I have one, they are tricky to use and take a bit of practice but once you master changing hand positions they are cool. You have to take your time with them so best used if you enjoy shaving or on pamper yourself days.
I would like to try a Japanese straight razor, they have a fixed blade.

My firm prediction is that nothing will happen. While acknowledging the sheer unpredictability of current events could theoretically lead to nothing happening, and some might reasonably argue that nothing will happen instead, the consistent patterns we observe point squarely to nothing happening. Honestly, considering how badly things are going, expecting nothing isn't even insane. Despite all the speculation suggesting nothing might occur, and the ever-present possibility looming large, I remain convinced the most likely outcome is nothing. This brings me back to my original assessment. Given this complexity, it's prudent to prepare for the very real possibility that nothing will happen, while staying vigilant for signs that nothing might occur after all.
What are your expectations?
