There has to be a middle ground between the blobby man-jawed mystery-meat uggos the West keeps making and the soulless generic plastic "waifus" the East makes. I don't want deliberately ugly DEI gremlins OR shameless tits-n-ass bimbos.
Why can't we just have conventionally attractive people? And let creative character design do the work to make them memorable.

They didn't even really need examples, just knowledge of how the ahamkara worked. Their only form of sustenance is to corrupt the wishes of other sentient life, and the only way for them to truly die is for them to recognize that they're monsters and wish themselves out of existence. Despite that, the Great Hunt was a bad thing and now Mara is raising Riven's brood to be good lizards.
